A quaint, but characterful cottage, would best describe Penny Hedge House. A step back in time, built in 1670, this cottage oozes charm with low beamed ceilings and stone flagged floors, and at the same time well cared for and very comfortable, combining old with new. A good central location for touring either the Heritage Coast or the North York Moors and situated up one of the small ginnels leading off Church Street, this Grade III listed building will capture your imagination and you will want to come back time after time. Being approximately 30 yards from the harbour and within walking distance of every amenity that Whitby has to offer, you will not be short of anything to do during your stay. Whitby has many interesting shops, pubs, tearooms and some of the best fish restaurants on the Coast, freshly caught fish being the order of the day!
Ground floor: Entrance into dining kitchen, stone flagged floor.
First floor: Lounge with gas fire in cast iron surround, polished timber floor.
Second floor: Double bedroom. 3 piece bathroom with shower over bath.
Additional information: Bed linen and towels provided. Heating and electricity included. Sky TV. Cot and high chair. Welcome pack on arrival. No smoking in the property. Parking on Church Street or in car park nearby. Pets welcome.
