In an excellent setting for exploring Whitby, May House is a super family property, well-maintained and equipped, offering all the facilities you need for a successful holiday by the seaside. Whitby is a traditional fishing port with a sandy beach, quaint shops and many little restaurants and tearooms selling the finest fish teas. From here you can travel up and down the coast at your leisure, taking in the sights of the various picturesque villages on the Heritage coastline, Sandsend, Robin Hood’s Bay and Runswick Bay to name just a few. If you drive a little further south you’ll come to Scarborough where holidaymakers of all ages can spend an entertaining afternoon visiting the Sea Life Centre, Peasholm Park or the Miniature North Bay Railway. You are also within easy reach of Goathland - this village is best known as the location of Aidensfield in the TV series Heartbeat, a tranquil spot with village shops, pubs and tearooms and sheep grazing on the green. A trip on the North York Moors Steam Preservation Railway is a treat for train enthusiasts, taking you from Goathland, stopping at Newton Dale Halt and Levisham and on to the market town of Pickering (market on Mondays). With no shortage of places to see and things to do this makes a perfect location for the whole family!

First floor: One double bedroom and one twin bedroom (2’ 6” beds), both with wash basins and heated towel rails.
Second floor: One bedroom with two single beds and sloped ceiling, wash basin and heated towel rail. 3 piece bathroom with heated towel rail.
Additional information: Bed linen and towels provided. Electricity and gas central heating included in the rent. Travel cot and high chair available on request. 2 Colour TVs. Hairdryer. Small yard to side of property. Parking on street outside property. No smoking in the property. 1 well behaved pet welcome @ £20 per week.
