Puffins Nest is just a few minutes’ walk from a superb sandy beach - an excellent detached property with all modern facilities, making a very comfortable holiday home from which to explore all the places of interest in this delightful, scenic part of the country. There are many sights to see, including Bamburgh Castle, trips to Holy Island and the Farne Isles, where you can spot seals and nesting birds, or if you want to stay closer to home, just stroll into town and you’ll find plenty of shops, inns and fish and chip shops serving some of the best fish on the Northumberland coast. Fishing, horse-riding and golf are also available locally, and if you feel adventurous, at Beadnell Bay you’ll find a variety of watersports including scuba diving, windsurfing and sailing. Berwick and Alnwick are also just a short car trip away, both having a wealth of history and an abundance of attractions including Alnwick Castle, (Hogwarts School in the Harry Potter films), Alnwick Gardens, and the walled town of Berwick, which has a sandy beach, a variety of shops, the Castle, museums, galleries, inns and tearooms.
